They are just 4 weeks old. I am in love with everyone of them! I am really starting to get to know the personalities now. It is going to be difficult to decide which to keep for up and coming stock dogs for the ranch. I am enjoying them all while I can.
I hope you like the pictures. I am trying really hard not to name them, I want their new families to do that, but it is hard. They all come to puppy, puppy now.

Mum is an Australian Border Collie and dad is an Australian Kelpie. We brought them back with us from Australia. They really are lovely dogs. Not as hyper as many of the collies and kelpies are here.
I think they are pretty delicuious too. When they are old enough to go though, I am usually ready. They can be a lot of work!

Oh Hidden. You are so bad. I sure wish we were in a position to get our second pup this year. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding good homes for them coopslave. Thanks again for the photos.

I know I am terrible. But puppies!!!!
Acutally we have been thinking on them for a while. We lost our German Shepherd last year and the kids keep asking when we will get another dog. Just waiting for the right one I guess.
We want something with herding instincts and then have to take a class or two on how to train them, then we should be set.
And something about the combinations strikes me. This way we would each get the breeds we wanted in one package. Smile (At least that is what I am going to use to convince DH about another dog...)

I totally understand your reasoning. Oh and you have a keeper in the DH department.

Thanks Chicory, yes he is a keeper. Very Happy 12 years we have been married this year and 16 years together, he is a pretty good man, puts up with my crazy obsessions for sure...

Coopslave I have him on the hook now, he wants to see pictures of the parents. Could you post some or email them to me? Please.

Okay, let us know the outcome Hidden. This feels much more hopeful than the outcome of the hockey game tonight!
